An attack was carried out yesterday by a supporter of the State of Israel against a PRC militant in Rome’s Trionfale neighborhood.
The attacker repeatedly hit with a baton and a bottle the militant who had urged him to stop tearing down some posters of solidarity with the Palestinian people. The attacker then turned his violence against the party headquarters as well. We express solidarity to the comrade victim of this cowardly attack.
It is no coincidence that in the city of Rome, as in the rest of the country, Zionists are raising their heads, feeling legitimized to carry out violent acts against political activists, journalists, communicators or ordinary defenders of the Palestinian cause.
We denounce the political climate imposed by the media apparatus and by a government that for months has been shamelessly complicit in the ongoing genocide in Palestine, censoring pro-Palestinian positions, the violence committed by Israel and its supporters, and in fact providing dignity to Zionist organizations in Italy.
We will not be intimidated by acts like this: Zionist violence will not pass!
