To the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of France
Dear comrades,
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Front and of our entire Party, we send you a fraternal and warm greeting on the occasion of your Congress.
The grave developments we are witnessing force us to examine the experience of class struggle in our countries and to continue intensifying our common efforts in the fight for the interests of the working class, against capital and its power.
The capitalist system in its final monopolistic stage is in crisis and decay. The signs of the intensification of the working class exploitation, poverty, uprooting of peoples, growing inter-imperialist competition for the control of markets and resources and for the maximization of capitalist monopolies’ profits, are evident.
Capitalism means poverty, wars, and massacres. It means “a world in flames,” as demonstrated by the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, the genocide of the Palestinian people by the murderous state of Israel, the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Yemen, the destruction of Syria by jihadists with the support of the United States, Israel, and Turkey, and the proliferation of war hotbeds and tensions worldwide.
We, revolutionary communists, Marxist-Leninists, and internationalists, trust in the strength and historical mission of the working class. We fight for the abolition of exploitation, for the overthrow of capitalism and the bourgeois state, for the withdrawal of our countries from the EU, NATO, and any kind of imperialist alliance, for the defeat of their aggressive and warmongering plans, with the aim of building a socialist-communist society. It is on this ground, the ground of class struggle, that the necessary and irreplaceable role of communists reveals itself. We are called to fight hard to unite, organize, and mobilize the working class and all the exploited to overturn the current unfavorable balance of forces and to create the conditions for a revolutionary counterattack that overthrows the rotten capitalist system.
Comrades, the imperialist nature of the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East is becoming increasingly evident. It is the result of the worsening of the generalized crisis of capitalism and the consequent exacerbation of competition between imperialist blocs and powers, albeit with significant contradictions within these same allies, for the acquisition of new outlet and supply markets, for the control of raw materials, energy sources, trade routes, and supremacy in the global capitalist system: on the one side the imperialist bloc USA-NATO-EU, which supports the fascist junta in Ukraine and the murderous state of Israel, on the other side the emerging Eurasian bloc, led by two capitalist powers, China and Russia, which are claiming a new division of the world and a redefinition of spheres of influence. We are firmly convinced that communists must keep their ideological, political, and organizational independence, resolutely refusing to support one bloc or the other, and to align themselves under “alien flags” alongside this or that bourgeoisie. Unfortunately, some Communist Parties have abandoned this Leninist principle, worsening and perpetuating the divisions and crisis of the International Communist Movement.
The harsh competition between powers and imperialist blocs has led to a widespread arms race and is pushing toward a war economy. A clear example of this is the rearmament plan adopted by the EU, which will cost workers new sacrifices in terms of low wages, already now insufficient to cope with the inflation that always goes with war economy, cuts in social spending, and the dismantling of public services. Enormous resources will be diverted from fulfilling the real needs of the working masses to feeding the profits of military-industrial monopolies.
Moreover, to impose these hateful policies on the peoples, bourgeois states will increasingly resort to authoritarianism, spying control, and police repression -even preemptively- of workers’ and popular resistance. The symptoms of this tendency are widely visible across the EU, where bourgeois states are increasingly restricting, or even suppressing, the political and union rights of the working class, as well as the formal freedoms of bourgeois democracy. Fighting against this authoritarian degeneration is a primary duty of communists.
Dear comrades, we greatly appreciate your determination, your ideological coherence, and your great efforts to strengthen your Party, the PCRF, in this difficult moment, when opportunistic, revisionist, and reformist positions are widespread in the French communist movement. We have the duty to increase and coordinate our forces in service of the fight to defend the rights of the proletariat and the popular strata, to play a leading role in all struggles without ever deviating from the strategic goal of communists: the overthrow of the bourgeois dictatorship and the establishment of the proletarian dictatorship in order to start the construction of socialism-communism! Therefore we wish you, dear comrades, a fruitful and successful Congress and new victories in the common revolutionary struggle of our Parties.
History is written by class struggle! The future is not capitalism, the future is Socialism-Communism!
LONG LIVE MARXISM-LENINISM!
LONG LIVE PROLETARIAN INTERNATIONALISM!
