To the CC of the Argentinian Communist Party
Dear comrades,
On behalf of the Communist Front’s Central Committee and of all members of our Party, we extend our warmest comradely greetings to you, on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the founding of the Internationalist Socialist Party, later named as the Communist Party, whose revolutionary origins are reviving today in the sister Argentinian Communist Party.
This important anniversary takes place in a historical phase marked by a deepening general crisis of capitalism in its final stage, and by growing inter-imperialist contradictions. The imperialist war in Ukraine continues to claim the lives of workers and peoples, while the genocide of the Palestinian people carried out by the State of Israel continues with the open support of the USA and the EU. At the same time, we denounce the recent military aggression against Venezuela by the United States, and firmly condemn the support expressed by the reactionary governments of both Italy and Argentina for this act of war, which represents yet another attempt to subjugate a sovereign country to plunder its natural resources, and to intimidate the peoples of Latin America. In this context, we express our full solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela and with the Venezuelan working class in their resistance to imperialist aggression and interference.
In the face of these dangers, international cooperation and coordination among Communist and Workers’ Parties is a fundamental element of the struggle against the growing risk of a generalized imperialist world war. Only the independent organization and revolutionary action of the working class, guided by the Communist Party, firmly rooted in Marxism-Leninism and impenetrable to bourgeois influence, can offer a way out of the barbarism of capitalism, which brings only war, misery, and suffering to the peoples.
Communist Parties around the world were founded more than a century ago in the struggle against opportunism and reformism within the workers’ movement, under the banner of the October Revolution and the Third International. This struggle remains of decisive importance today, especially after the counter-revolution in the Soviet Union and the bourgeois ideological offensive aimed at liquidating the revolutionary heritage of the international communist movement. For this reason, it is of great significance that in Argentina, shooting range of one of the most reactionary capitalist regimes, there exists a Communist Party that firmly carries the banner of Marxism-Leninism and works to reconnect the working class with its historical revolutionary mission.
